The Stabilisation Process
Lyprinol is a unique combination of non-polar lipid groups and rare omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids from the Green Lipped Mussel Perna canaliculus.
But Lyprinol should never be confused with the numerous other powder-based Green Lipped Mussel products. This is because the lipids within the mussel help us to maintain healthy airways but can easily oxidise from exposure to heat and oxygen. They then degrade, losing all their beneficial properties.
"The effects of all processing steps, including raw product selection, harvesting, storage, refining, manufacturing and distribution, on the quality of lipids in the final commodity are considerable." - JB German, Department of Food Science and Technology, University of California.
Only Lyprinol's marine lipids are protected using a gentle patented process that prevents oxidation and leaves no chemical residues.
Only with Lyprinol will you find this vitally important stage in the processing. It isolates, stabilises and concentrates the active ingredients, as well as eliminating all the protein (which could otherwise trigger shellfish allergies).
